Sanjay Dutt was born with a sliver spoon in his mouth to two famous Bollywood actors- Sunil Dutt and Nargis on 29 July 1959. He made his debut in Hindi cinema in 1981 and did over 187 movies till date. Sanjay Dutt mostly played larger-than-life portrayal characters, which made him popular as Deadly Dutt among the audience. The teaser has been made very efficiently and has become the highest viewed Hindi film teaser within 48 hours. Posters have also been released, each poster showcase stills from each phase of his life, like first he came out of the jail, his film release- Rocky and Munna Bhai. Recently release poster is with Sonam Kapoor, showing his crazy love life. Both the teasers and poster are attracting more and more viewer due its great appearance and making.
Raj Kumar Hirani chose Ranbir Kapoor to play Sanjay Dutt in the biopic because he considers Ranbir to be a fantastic actor and believed that he can do justice with the role.
