This song when first came looked like only a catchy number but later when the audience saw the movie we realized the importance of song. And now even today whenever India wins a match or a game in any sport, Kuch Kariya is sure to be played!

This song ‘Kuch Kariye’ from Chak De India features Shah Rukh as Kabir who is a hockey coach and want his team to make his country proud!

And the fun fact about the movie itself is that even it is fictional but character of Kabir Khan was coincidentally real with Mir Ranjan Negi and Jaideep Sahni was totally unaware of this facts while writing the script. Kabir in movie is accused of being friendly with Pakistan and letting India lose in a crucial final match. It is similar to what happened with Mir Ranjan Negi in the 1982 Asian Games.


Maa Tujhe Salaam- Vande Mataram

Another melodious compositon by A.R Rehman from the album “Vande Mataram” which celebrate the true spirit of India. Vande Mataram is a 1997 studio album. It is the largest selling Indian non-film album to date. It was released on the Golden Jubilee anniversary of India's independence and has been instrumental in instilling a sense of patriotic pride and national unity amongst the people of India. Ever since release, both the album and its title song "Maa Tujhe Salaam" have had a profoundly positive and unifying impact on the nationalistic and patriotic mood of the country.

The album was met with overwhelming responses. Rahman became the first Indian artist of popular music to go international when Vande Mataram was released simultaneously in 28 countries across the world. Rahman himself performed live at Vijay Chowk in New Delhi on the eve of the Golden Jubilee of Indian Independence to a packed audience that comprised the Prime Minister of India, Inder Kumar Gujral.

Ye Jo Des Hai Tera [Full Song] Swades

The song gives the feeling of oneness with the nation and beautifully sung by  this A R Rahman. It starts with a shehnai-like instrument and slowly grows. 

The story of Swades itself is very moving and inspired by the on the lives of NRI couple Aravinda Pillalamarri and Ravi Kuchimanchi who work for AID (Association for Indian Development). AID is a secular charity organisation based in the United States that works towards promoting "sustainable, equitable and just development". Over the years, AID, with the work they have carried out in India, has won a number of accolades including the 'Global Impact Award' by Times of India.

Rang De Basanti - Title Song

The title track of the movie indeed make everyone more energetic. This song has been beautifully sung by singer Daler Mehndi, K S Chitra and the music has been composed by A.R. Rahman. The song is inspired by classic Mera Rang De Basanti Chola from Shaheed.  This song features Aamir Khan, Kunal Kapoor, Siddharth Narayan, Sharman Joshi and Atul Kulkarni.

Sandese Aate Hai

This song from Border movie is a patriotic cum romantic song  for the soldier calling out to his lover and one where he is missing his village and his family. It was written by Javed Akhtar, composed by Anu Malik and sung by Roop Kumar Rathod and Sonu Nigam. The song describes the pain of Indian soldiers and was one of the reasons for the success of the film.

Not only the song but the movie itself is a prodigy. The director, JP Dutta received numerous death threats and was assigned two armed bodyguards at constant service for the following three-four months. 

Sunny Deol portrayed the role of Indian Army officer, Kuldip Singh Chandpuri, who was commended for his brilliant leadership and heroism in the Battle of Longewala, for which he received the prestigious Maha Vir Chakra (MVC) by the Indian Army.

The film was shot on the real locations of the 1971 battle on the vast spread deserts of Bikaner. The filmmakers used the authentic Hawker Hunters aircraft which was used during the actual war as well. They even maintained their unit logos while filming. Real army men participated in this historic movie and real war equipments like tanks, army jeeps and other genuine ammunition was used.

Kandhon se milte hain kandhe- Lakshya

The song which motivates you for patriotism to core.  Kandhon Se Milte Hain Kandhe sung by Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Nigam, Hariharan, Roop Kumar Rathod, Kunal Ganjawala and Vijay Prakash. The songs portraits the life on Indian Soldiers who are fighting on the border for their motherland. The starcast of the film consists of Preity Zinta, Hrithik Roshan, Sharad Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Aditya Srivastava, Om Puri and Boman Irani.

Lakshya was ultimately based on different events of Kargil War not just this the role played by Hritik himself was somehow dedicated to Subedar Yogendra Singh Yadav who has credit of receiving ‘The Param Vir Chakra' at the age of 19.
