Sui Dhaaga: Made in India first poster out
Film is based on 'Make in India' campaign launched by the Indian government, inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy.

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma-starrer 'Sui Dhaaga' is getting applauded from the fans ever since the first look of the film was shared on the internet. A few days earlier the makers of the movie shared the official logo of the film that has been made in 15 different arts forms. And now the first official poster has been released this morning by Varun Dhawan himself. Both Varun and Anushka look very simple in their desi avatar in the film.

Varun took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "Exclusive-बड़े मौज से पेश करते हैं हम सुईधागा मेड इन इंडिया का पहला पोस्टर!अब ट्रेलर के लिए ज़्यादा वक़्त नहीं बचा!#SuiDhaagaMadeInIndia TRAILER OUT ON 13TH AUGUST! भूलना मत!"Check out the poster here.

In the poster we can see that Varun and Anushka are posing, smilingly, at a sewing workshop. While Varun is leaning of the table of a sewing machine, Anushka is standing with her hands folded.

Anushka too shared 'Sui Dhaaga' poster on Twitter and wrote, "धागे धागे पे लिखा है,सिलने वाले का नाम!आइये हमारी बुनी हुई कहानी सुनने!#SuiDhaagaMadeInIndia TRAILER OUT ON 13TH AUGUST! @Varun_dvn @Sharatkatariya#ManeeshSharma @yrf."

Sui Dhaaga is a film by Sharat Kataria and produced by Maneesh  Sharma underthe banner of YRF, 'Sui Dhaaga' is reportedly based on 'Make in India' campaign launched by the Indian government, inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy. Varun is playing the role of an tailor and Anushka is embroider. This is the first time when Anushka and Varun are coming together. Speaking about casting Anushka, producer Manish Sharma earlier said, "We wanted someone who could effortlessly transform herself into a character who is intelligent, strong and expressive even in her silence. Anushka brings in the authenticity and resilient spirit as a performer and a star. Today, movie-goers want to discover and love characters that they connect with. They want to identify themselves with the story and see how convincingly and truthfully actors translate it."


On the other hand, Varun was earlier quoted as saying, "From Gandhiji to Modiji, our country's leaders have always endorsed the mantra of Made in India. With Sui Dhaaga, I am proud to take their message to millions of movie lovers in a manner that is entertaining and relevant."

Meanwhile, the trailer of the film will be released on August 13. The film is slated to hit the screens on September 28, 2018.
